·        Deduce: Analyze the problem, opportunity, or situation using your knowledge and the knowledge of others inside and outside your congregation.

Lamentations 3:40

Let us examine our ways and test them, and let us return to the LORD.

·        Discern: Through prayer and contemplation of scripture, seek God’s guidance.

Jeremiah 29:11

For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

·        Decide: Choose a course of action and develop a plan for implementing it.

Job 22:28

You will decide on a matter, and it will be established for you,
   and light will shine on your ways.

·        Disseminate: Communicate to the congregation what will be done, why it is being doing, and how it will be done.

Habakkuk 2:2

Then the LORD answered me and said: Write the vision; make it plain on tablets, so that a runner may read it.

·        Delegate: Enlist assistance to accomplish the various tasks that comprise the plan.

Acts 15:22

Then the apostles and elders, with the whole church, decided to choose some of their own men and send them to Antioch with Paul and Barnabas. They chose Judas (called Barsabbas) and Silas, two men who were leaders among the brothers.

2 Chronicles 7:11

·        Debrief: Assess progress; learn from mistakes; listen to feedback.

Psalm 79:13

·        Disciple: Show and teach the next round of leaders what God has done and how God has used leaders in your congregation to accomplish it.

Judges 7:17
